They call it "Eisenbahnromantik" when it's a bit foggy and the sun is shining. It is a pretty sight, but seeing signals is a bitch. We drove the 45005 from Mannheim to Offenburg.

These V90's (Baureihe 294) I work with date from the early 70's and sometimes late 60's. They're by no mean perfect, but the oldfashion thick steel (sleepbotenstaal) make them virtually indestructable.
We had a couple of days of rain and woke up to a fogged up world this morning. During my walk with the dog this morning however, the sun came peeking through the fog.
